Crowded House frontman Neil Finn plays tunes from his latest solo long-player Dizzy Heights, while New York-based Joan as Police Woman, aka musician Joan Wasser, showcases her critically acclaimed album The Classic.     An extended edition of Tuesday night's show, when the programme kicked off its 44th run with Elbow performing numbers from their recent chart-topping album The Take Off and Landing of Everything, including recent single New York Morning. Neneh Cherry showcases her solo album Blank Project and plays her classic 1988 hit Buffalo Stance, veteran crooner Engelbert Humperdinck joins Jools for a chat and a song at the piano, and Cambridge electronic group Clean Bandit are joined by vocalist Jess Glynne to perform their number one hit Rather Be. There are also appearances by Leeds alt-rock band Eagulls and Danish singer-songwriter and pianist Agnes Obel

  • Season 43 Episode 8: The Killers / Chase & Status / Boy George / The Orwells

    Extended edition of Tuesday night's programme. Las Vegas rock band the Killers perform tracks from their new compilation Direct Hits, and electronic duo Chase and Status play a selection from their latest album Brand New Machine. Singer-songwriter and DJ Boy George showcases material from This Is What I Do, his first studio album in 18 years, and veteran Nashville songwriter Jimmy Webb is joined by Del Amitri frontman Justin Currie to perform a track from his recent Still Within the Sound of My Voice collection. Also appearing are Illinois garage band the Orwells and east London soul singer Denai Moore
