A self-absorbed City worker agrees to give up his champagne lifestyle to spend a week as a charity volunteer in a hostel for the homeless, where he will care for some of London's most entrenched rough-sleepers - individuals with alcohol and mental health problems who may be drunk, aggressive and occasionally violent. Can a taste of life on the other side of the tracks make him a more compassionate person?
