Critically acclaimed drama, written by and starring Antony Sher, chronicling the life of Dimitri Tsafendas, who assassinated South African Prime Minister Hendrik Verwoerd inside the parliament chamber in 1966. Arriving in South Africa at the height of apartheid, he finds a country rife with racial discrimination, but Tsafendas' subsequent assertation that a giant tapeworm in his body had driven him to murder led to his being declared mad and imprisoned for 28 years.
