    David Dimbleby travels west to discover the impact of Georgian architectural theory, exploring the man-made Stourhead garden in Wiltshire and taking in the grandeur of Oxfordshire's Blenheim Palace. He travels by sedan chair through Bath, taking the waters and extolling the virtues of the terraced house, visits the tin mines of Cornwall and crosses the Menai Bridge into Anglesey before ending his journey in the city of Dublin
