Synopsis:
Industry expert Ruth Watson visits a 33-bedroom Victorian hotel on the Eastbourne seafront which is currently suffering from an identity crisis. In the past, the hotel has catered mainly for pensioners and coach parties paying as little as £20 for a room but the proprietors have splashed out in a bid to take it upmarket - all that's missing now is a matching clientele
