Documentary set in an inner-city school in LA, where the highly-regarded Shakespeare programme has reached such acclaim that actors such as Ian McKellen and Michael York have lent their support. Charismatic tutor Rafe Esquith teaches the immigrant 5th graders, and at the end of the year the children perform their own version of Hamlet, many of them finding this a life-changing experience
