  McGarrett's camping trip with Grace and her fellow Aloha Girls takes a turn for the worse when an armed man searching for a package stumbles across them in the jungle, taking the detective and a young child hostage before locking everyone else in a storage shed.   A computer hacker is released from prison after serving six months for crossing the wrong people, only to walk straight into a gang of masked thugs who bundle him into their car. The Five-0 detectives soon track down the vehicle with the help of the man's autistic little brother - but the news is not good, setting them out on a murder investigation. Meanwhile, Mary arrives in Hawaii and discovers her mother is still alive, so McGarrett stages a reunion - but he doesn't bank on his sister bringing along the motor-mouthed OAP she's been caring for. • Season 3 Episode 6: I Ka Wa Mamua

  Danno's search for the members of a terrorist cell leads to a terrifying life-or-death situation when he activates a suicide bomb rigged to explode at the slightest movement or touch. As technicians set to work to free the nervous cop, McGarrett tries to distract his friend and colleague by getting him to talk about the toughest case of his career, flashing back to Danno's days as a detective in New Jersey, when he and his partner Grace were held hostage by mobsters.   Halloween presents the Five-0 team with a typically gory crime to solve - that of a nursing student who was kidnapped and cut to pieces - while still alive. Initial evidence points to the black market in human organs, suggesting the killer wanted to sell hers to the highest bidder - but the autopsy suggests something much more creepy is afoot

• Season 3 Episode 4: Popilikia

  A polo player's chances of winning an upcoming match are severely reduced when he is decapitated atop his horse by a mystery assailant during a training session, leaving the Five-0 team with a particularly gory crime to solve. McGarrett enjoys a brief respite when his mother pays an unexpected visit, despite the fact she is still being targeted by Wo Fat. But as he soon realises, she is not the kind of woman to take orders from anyone. Alex O'Loughlin and Christine Lahti star

• Season 3 Episode 3: Lana I Ka Moana

  McGarrett and Danno take time out with a fishing trip on the open sea, but their hopes of a relaxing break are thwarted when they spot a man in distress on a life raft. They drive over to help the guy out, but their good deed backfires spectacularly when he pulls a gun, hijacks their boat and leaves them stranded in the ocean on his dinghy. Where are Chin Ho and Kono when you need them?

  An art robbery turns deadly, so the team tracks down a familiar face - ex-con and art expert August March - in the hope he can lead them to the thieves.   Vince Fryer is shot in an alleyway, prompting the team to track down the culprit, who subsequently opens fire on Max. Later, Chin Ho is forced to choose between saving colleague Kono, who is being held hostage on a boat, and his wife Malia, but both women find themselves in life-threatening situations. When their combined efforts determine that Dracul Comescu is planning to sell the virus to a buyer at the International Marketplace, they set about arranging a sting operation

  The team investigates when a woman's body is discovered in a drainage ditch, prompting Max to reveal details of his painful past in an effort to convince his colleagues that jailed killer 'the Trashman' is responsible. Crime drama, starring Masi Oka and Alex O'Loughlin

  McGarrett and the team believe they are closing in on Wo Fat with assistance from Agent Jenna Kaye, staging an assault on the safe house the target is suspected to be using. However, Sang Min is discovered inside and Danny finds a body in the ensuing chase, and concerns of bio-terrorism arise when the detective begins foaming at the mouth and convulsing

• Season 1 Episode 22: Ho'ohuli Na'au

  World-renowned photographer Renny Sinclair is found burned to death in his trailer after travelling to Hawaii to take pictures for a sport magazine's annual swimsuit shoot. The blame falls on several suspects as the team investigates, with Danno the first in line to interview the shocked models. Starring Scott Caan

  An undercover police officer makes a secret visit to his family during his seemingly successful operation to bring a crime lord to justice, but seeks revenge when his wife is killed during an attack.   McGarrett finds a gang of thieves has evaded his elaborate security system and entered his home, and is left powerless as they snatch his father's Champ box. The team investigates when Steve's sister Mary Ann is also taken by the robbers, before it emerges that the Yakuza are behind the crimes

• Season 1 Episode 12: Hana 'a'a Makehewa

  The killer of McGarrett's father resurfaces and immediately makes his presence known, kidnapping Chin Ho and using the detective to demand a $10million ransom. Amid the chaos, Danny tries to prepare the perfect Christmas for his daughter Grace. Guest starring James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

  The team investigates the murder of a man on honeymoon and his new bride's abduction - and medical examiner Max Bergman realises the case bears uncanny similarities to a series of unsolved homicides from a year ago

  The team tries to ascertain why highly skilled thieves should steal an armoured car, but choose to leave the money behind. The detectives locate a woman they believe is part of the crew, and Danny is forced to call in a favour from his ex-wife to keep the suspect under surveillance

• Season 1 Episode 9: Po'ipu

  A member of the security staff for a forthcoming aid summit is murdered before he can reveal the details of a suspected assassination plot, leaving McGarrett and the team to protect the target - a dictator and his family

• Season 1 Episode 8: Mana'o

  The team is called when the charred body of a police officer is found in a fire pit. Danno is devastated to discover the victim is a former partner who was the target of an internal affairs investigation, and sets out to clear his friend's name, leading to encounters with corrupt cops and a cocaine cartel

• Season 1 Episode 7: Ho'apono

  Former Navy Seal Graham Rivers takes a group of terrorists hostage on the USS Missouri, and McGarret uses his own special forces training to board the vessel and talk him down. It later emerges that Graham is wanted in connection with his wife's murder, and Danny, Chin Ho and Kono investigate the case when he protests his innocence

• Season 1 Episode 6: Ko'olauloa

  Things get personal for Kono when her former surfing mentor is shot dead, and ex-lover Ben Bass emerges as the prime suspect.
