  The European Athletics Championships. Sue Barker and Hazel Irvine are joined by Michael Johnson, Paula Radcliffe, Colin Jackson and Jonathan Edwards to introduce live coverage of the sixth day's action at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden, where eight gold medals are up for grabs. Today's events include the men's triple jump final at 2.50, where Commonwealth champion Phillips Idowu will expect to be in action, while Jo Pavey should feature in the women's 5,000m final at 4.15. Also scheduled are the conclusion of the women's marathon, the women's shot put final at 1.35, the women's pole vault final at 2.00 and the women's and men's 4x400m relay semi-finals at 2.05 and 2.30 respectively. Plus, the men's 110m hurdles semi-finals at 2.55, the finals of the women's 3,000m steeplechase and men's discus at 3.15 and 3.30, the semi-finals of the women's and men's 4x100m relays at 3.35 and 3.55 and the final of the men's 110m hurdles at 4.40.
