Americans have featured prominently on the trophy in recent years, with Mark O'Meara, David Duval, Ben Curtis, Todd Hamilton and Tiger Woods having all won the tournament in the past decade. However, there are a number of Europeans desperate for success this time around, hopeful of emulating Padraig Harrington's success in 2007
