Lauren realises she has to confess about her affair with Leo after learning he and Beth are lovers. When Darren declares his marriage to Terese is over, she turns to Beth, revealing she spotted Cassidy wearing an engagement ring. Beth confronts John, threatening to expose his part in the Redstart flats fire. Later, she concocts a plan to pay back John and save her son's marriage when she learns the council are expressing interest in the Avalon Basin site - but have reservations
Season 1 Episode 6: Cassidy's Mother
Cassidy is furious to discover the pact between John and Beth. Lauren is hostile toward everyone in rehab, and her misery is compounded when her mother delivers a painful statement. John finds Naomi at the Redstart flats where her father died, and after an emotional confession, he returns home with an apology for Cassidy
