• Season 2 Episode 12: GLEE-ality

  The final is here and only three remain, vying for a guest-starring role in seven episodes of the hit musical show. They are joined by the previous contestants, who provide backing vocals on the homework assignment - You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspray, with guest mentor Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel) watching on. There then remains another group video - Tonight Tonight by Hot Chelle Rae - and one last chance for the final three to impress the judges before Ryan Murphy decides who will be named as the next star of Glee

• Season 2 Episode 11: Actability

  The remaining five performers focus on their acting skills, with help from guest mentor Dianna Agron, who plays Quinn on the show. First they respond to emotions displayed on cue cards while singing Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love, then film a coming-of-age story to Perfect by Pink. All five then face last-chance performances before Ryan Murphy, Robert Ulrich, Zach Woodlee and Nikki Anders are joined by the Glee writing team to decide who will progress to next week's final

• Season 2 Episode 10: Romanticality

  With just three weeks to go before the lucky Gleek is chosen, the remaining hopefuls are asked to show their romantic side. First they perform More Than Words by Extreme - accompanied on guitar by original writer Nuno Bettencourt - then are paired off and asked to perform convincing renditions of Rihanna's We Found Love. With mentors Robert Ulrich, Zach and Nikki Anders agreeing that all six are good enough to win choosing a bottom three proves tricky - but they eventually do, leaving Ryan Murphy with the unenviable task of shattering another singer's TV dream
