Synopsis:
Trix returns to town and criticises her children for being financial failures - only for Richard to unexpectedly stand up to her. Rory's professor tells her she has to drop a class as her workload is too much. Lane gets her job back, and has a tense confrontation with her mother, while Lorelai and Sookie find funding the construction crew increasingly difficult
