The divorce rate currently stands at nearly 50 per cent, yet despite its less than permanent status, marriage is still regarded as something to be celebrated. Bob discusses his opinions with Alan Milburn, Geoff Mulgan, Alain de Botton and Germaine Greer, assessing the consequences of splitting up for couples and their children and questioning whether the simplicity of divorce may have contributed to some of society's problems
