The divorce rate currently stands at nearly 50 per cent, yet despite it's less than permanent status, marriage is still regarded as something to be celebrated. Bob discusses the phenomenon with Alan Milburn, Geoff Mulgan, Alain de Botton and Germaine Greer, studying , discussing the consequences splitting up can have for couples and their children and questioning whether the simplicity of divorce may have contributed to some of society's problems
