  Olivia starts having elaborate visions; Walter confesses his previous knowledge about the Z.F.T. manifesto; Peter's secret project is exposed.

• Season 1 Episode 18: Midnight

  A serial killer is on the loose in Boston and the FBI discover the victims have each had their spinal fluids completely drained. Agents Olivia Dunham and Peter Bishop try to stop the murderer's spree and are led to a scientist with possible links to the ZFT bio-terrorist cell - but are shocked to discover the identity of the criminal

• Season 1 Episode 17: Bad Dreams

  Olivia dreams about a suicide as the event really happens at Grand Central Station; shocking information about the ZFT manuscript is revealed.

• Season 1 Episode 16: Unleashed

  Animal rights activists are mauled by a genetically modified beast that has developed an appetite for human flesh when they ransack the lab where it was created - prompting Olivia, Peter and Dr Bishop to track the hybrid down before it strikes again. Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson and John Noble star

  The team finds freakish remains at the crash site of an international jumbo jet; with answers just out of reach, Olivia and Peter decide to go under cover.

  Olivia, Walter and Peter investigate the deaths of a teenager and a car salesman whose brains were liquefied after watching a video sent to their computers, and discover the victims were connected to a computer programmer who has lost his job. In order to catch the suspect, Olivia defies an order from Harris, and Broyles puts his friendship with the agent on the line to defend her

  Peter joins forces with the FBI in a desperate search for the abducted Olivia with the FBI, unaware that the man heading the investigation is responsible for her disappearance

• Season 1 Episode 9: The Dreamscape

  An employee of Massive Dynamic leaps to his death after hallucinating a butterfly attack. Agent Scott proves useful in investigating the case but Olivia is frustrated and wants to remove him from her thoughts altogether. Meanwhile, Peter deals with some enemies from his past

• Season 1 Episode 8: The Equation

  Walter's former room-mate from the mental institute is linked to the abduction of a young musical prodigy - recently taken by a serial killer. Peter feels concerned that Walter is getting too involved when he ventures back to the institute to try to solve the case

• Season 1 Episode 7: In Which We Meet Mr. Jones

  When a strange parasite attaches itself to the internal organs of a dying FBI agent, Olivia suspects a connection to the Pattern; Peter and Walter tap into a dead man's brain waves.

• Season 1 Episode 6: The Cure

  Detectives believe a woman has been involved in illegal drug trials when she reappears having been missing for weeks with the sinister ability to cause death by the touch of her fingertips. Meanwhile, Peter strikes a deal with Nina Sharp, and Walter develops a fetish for cotton candy

  The team is required to investigate a man who can harness and project electricity, and is at the centre of a series of mysterious deaths. Meanwhile, Olivia has a shocking blast from the past, and Dr Bishop finds a use for homing pigeons

  The team is on the case of a mysterious cylinder - unearthed from the middle of an explosion at a New York construction site - yet undamaged. Meanwhile, Olivia finds a prospective correlation between a string of disturbing events

  The team investigates a bus full of dead commuters that appear to be fossilized, and uncover a man who has visions of pattern-related disturbances before they happen; Dr. Bishop requests a piano in the lab to help him process data.

  The team investigates the death of a woman whose pregnancy lasted a matter of hours before she gave birth and died.
