Fleur is delighted to see Jon again, who has taken a job at a farm, and the pair decide the only way they can be together is to elope : so they plan to start a new life in Scotland, but the shocking revelation that Jolyon is dying scuppers their intentions. Meanwhile, Soames confronts Annette about her affair with Profond, who promptly turns up to tell the cuckolded husband that he is leaving in the hope of averting further scandal, but his reappearance at a cricket match looks set to cause irreparable damage to the already jeopardised marriage. Penultimate instalment of the period drama series, starring Damian Lewis, Rupert Graves and Beatriz Batarda
