  Mal and Zoe are shocked when they receive the corpse of one of their old war comrades through the post. However, a group of aggressive men claiming to be from the Alliance also show up, triggering an unexpected chain of events in which the dead veteran comes back to life.   Mal and Wash are kidnapped by people working for a nefarious crime lord who harbours a grudge against the captain. Zoe attempts to bargain for their lives, but the ruthless gangster is only willing to release one prisoner. Meanwhile, Simon does his best to treat River. Starring Adam Baldwin

  The crew visit planet Ariel where they carry out a raid on a hospital to acquire vital supplies.
