The FBI Files: Season 2 (1999 - 2000)

FBI profilers were called in to analyse the perpetrator : a move which paid dividends when a seemingly unrelated incident in Georgia led them straight to the killer

By April 1995, two officers had been shot while sitting in their patrol cars, and although a suspect was identified it would take months of painstaking nationwide surveillance to bring the culprit to book : but not before he claimed another victim
