Kay Mellor's bittersweet drama is back for a fourth series, catching up with the friends as they come back from a holiday on the Costa del Sol - their prize for being hailed Slimmers of the Year on daytime TV. Betty's return is fraught with conflict as she tries to juggle her home life with seeing Simon, the son she gave up for adoption many years earlier.
