Synopsis:
Two-part adaptation of John Cleland's notorious novel, starring Rebecca Night as a young woman from the country who battles to attain respectability after falling into a life of prostitution in 18th-century London. In the first part, Fanny moves to the capital after losing her parents to smallpox and is seized upon by madam Mrs Brown.
