  The residents are threatened by the sudden appearance of a second sun, causing temperatures to soar. Zane formulkates a chemical that protects against even the most extreme heat, giving Carter a chance to discover who is responsible for creating the star before it explodes, destroying the entire town in the process. • Season 3 Episode 6: Phased and Confused

  Eva Thorne persuades Zane to break an ancient lock, opening a door to the past and its flawed technology.   Eva Thorne invites ambitious archaeologist Sebastian Marx to Global Dynamics, where she has brought an ancient Egyptian tomb ready to be opened. Relishing the prospect of huge profits, she ignores the advice of resident Egyptologist Dr Wilding and desecrates the tomb - unleashing an ancient curse and causing the mummy inside to return to life

• Season 3 Episode 4: I Do Over

  Allison's wedding day arrives and Carter's morning begins badly as his shower sprays freezing water and his sister arrives, along with the cats to which he is allergic. As the ceremony nears its conclusion, however, time resets itself, and he finds himself repeating the events of the day several times, and the sheriff realises he must break the time loop or the day will never end

• Season 3 Episode 3: Best in Faux

  The date of the town's annual dog show arrives, and as all the entries are artificial, the prize is awarded to the most lifelike creation. Reigning champion Fifi, belonging to Carol Taylor, faces serious competition in the form of Dr Anne Young and Thunder, but when the two animals meet, Fifi suddenly falls apart. Other contestants are also sabotaged, and Carter is called in to investigate, while at the same time, a deadly earthquake is heading for Eureka

• Season 3 Episode 2: What About Bob

  Jack Carter is called to investigate when a scientist mysteriously vanishes from a sealed biosphere after 11 years as part of a group experiment into underground ecosystems. Joined by Allison, the sheriff finds the subterranean garden in turmoil and run by a reptilian creature he suspects of involvement in the crime - until a stranger truth is revealed

• Season 3 Episode 1: Bad to the Drone

  Henry Deacon awaits sentencing for the security breach that saved Kevin's life, and corporate fixer Eva Thorne arrives in town. Her brief is to conduct a performance review of Global Dynamics for the Department of Defence, and her ruthlessness quickly leads her to make enemies. Meanwhile, Carter is charged with retrieving a viper drone that went astray during a routine test. Sci-fi drama, starring Colin Ferguson

Eureka: Season 2 (2007)

• Season 2 Episode 13: A Night in Global Dynamics

  Henry informs the others that the metal-eating bacterium has mutated, feeding now on the iron present in human blood. Trapped inside the damaged Global Dynamics building, Jack and Henry put aside their differences to find a way to stop the bacterium while defending themselves against the corporation's diabolical supercomputer, intent on cleansing the facility by incinerating all organic matter within. • Season 2 Episode 12: All That Glitters

  Downtown shoppers celebrate when they witness a decorative statue miraculously transform into gold. Jack's investigations reveal that an ancient bacterium called the Alchemist's Curse is causing the mutations, leaving the town's steel infrastructure at risk of collapsing. Lucas rushes to discover a way to reverse the curse before it evolves into a more deadly form

• Season 2 Episode 11: Maneater

  Jack tries to find an engineer who has mysteriously disappeared when Eureka's drainage system begins to break down. Meanwhile, the sheriff is baffled when he becomes so irresistible to the town's women that they begin fighting for his affections. Colin Ferguson stars

  A series of strange phenomena has people flocking to the church, including the water in the town's aquarium turning to blood and Allison's skin glowing - leading residents to believe they are acts of God.   The town descends into chaos when a toxic formula is created that induces invisibility, as a thief runs amuck while Zoe is bewildered when she is involved in a car accident - but the other person vanishes.
