Synopsis:
Samuel Beckett's drama, broadcast as part of Radio 3's celebration of the centenary of the author's birth. The play finds Henry (Michael Gambon) sitting on the strand, haunted by the sound of the sea. He conjures up voices, stories and images from his past as he tries to drown out the inescapable presence of the water. With Sinéad Cusack (Ada), Carly Baker (Addie), Alvaro Lucchesi (The Music Master), Rupert Graves (The Riding Master). Maebh Martin (piano)
