Classic sci-fi adventure, starring Patrick Troughton as the second incarnation of the eccentric Time Lord. The Tardis lands in Sixties London - but things are far from swinging thanks to the ill-advised efforts of a scientist, whose meddling has summoned a sinister alien intelligence to Earth. Soldiers fight desperately to fend off attack by robotic yetis roaming the Underground, but their efforts look to be in vain - all hope now seems to be placed in the Doctor. Frazer Hines, Deborah Watling and Nicholas Courtney co-star. This episode was thought for several years to have been destroyed, until it was discovered in 1978.
