Andrew Davies's dramatisation of George and Weedon Grossmith's classic comedy novel, starring Hugh Bonneville as the modestly ambitious but socially invisible diarist Charles Pooter. Considered a classic work of humour, the satire on the snobberies of suburbia has never been out of print since its publication in 1892.
