Tarantula expert Martin Nicholas heads to the Peruvian rainforest, hoping to find a specimen spider that locals say is nearly a foot long. While searching, he comes across a bullet ant, owner of the most painful sting in the insect world. Scientist David Roubik investigates the life cycle of a Brazil nut tree, and is attacked by bees and wasps in the process
