  • Season 2 Episode 6: A New Hunt Begins

    January sees the fishermen returning to their boats in Dutch Harbour, Alaska, to resupply for the crab-fishing season. Following three days of cod fishing the captain of the Cornelia Marie chooses to wait in the harbour, aware of the dangers of capsizing his huge stack of pots if they hit ice, while the crew of the Rollo decide to head out to new waters

  • Season 2 Episode 5: Friends and Rivals

    The Rollo's crew endure rough seas, while the men of the Aleutian Ballad are left in darkness when their vessel is overturned by a huge wave. The boats head back to the harbour, where crew members find out how much they will be paid before returning home

  • Season 2 Episode 4: The Finish Line

    The Aleutian Ballad is left without power after being hit by an 80-metre wave during a storm. Meanwhile, the Maverick is in trouble after an inspection by the coastguard and the Northwestern's success is cut short by a problem with one of the hydraulic lifts

    The crews battle to catch as much as they possible can before the end of the season. The crab can't last for ever, meaning even a few days' wait could cost them tens of thousands of dollars. Last in series

    Just 84 hours into the opilio crab season, the men hear rumours of an early closure, prompting them to work even harder. Captain Jim Stone of the Retriever decides to move operations from the northern to the southern fishing grounds, while Peter Liske and his men on Lady Alaska begin to pull in substantial amounts of snow crab. The Billokin crew hope to make up for their slow start before it's too late
