The celebrity skating contest reaches its climax, with Donal MacIntyre, Ray Quinn and Jessica Taylor battling it out in the hope of succeeding last year's winner Suzanne Shaw. Each perform acts that include a flying technique, followed by their favourite routine from the series. One star is eliminated, leaving two couples in the final skate-off facing the ultimate challenge - the Bolero, which Torvill and Dean will also perform a new interpretation of in its 25th anniversary year. Plus, the return of the previous contestants and a performance by the winners of Jane and Chris's search for an Ice Star, the Oxford Freestylers. Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby present the semi-final of the contest, kicking off with Torvill and Dean dancing to a live performance by Girls Aloud. Then the four remaining celebrities - Donal MacIntyre, Coleen Nolan, Ray Quinn and Jessica Taylor - take to the ice once more with their partners, knowing that a slip-up at this stage could mean the difference between hanging up their skates and an appearance in next week's final, where one of them will be taking the crown from last year's victor Suzanne Shaw.
