Gabby Logan presents action from the opening day of the 2009 World Track Cycling Championships at the BGZ Arena Velodrome in Pruszkow, Poland. The British men's team sprint squad took to the track without the injured Chris Hoy as they tried to defeat defending champions France, and medals were also contested in the men's 40km points race and the women's 500m time trial and individual pursuit.
