New series in which Gavin Hewitt gives three contestants a chance to run the country during a simulated crisis, beginning with an outbreak of an infectious disease in Liverpool which threatens to spread to the whole of Europe. Expert advice comes from Air Marshall Tim Garden, William Hague's former chief spin doctor Amanda Platell and retired police and intelligence officer Charles Shoebridge. Viewers can follow events interactively, and by the end of the programme a potential Prime Minister may emerge
