Family ties weaken for Steve Hennessey as he goes on trial for dealing in heroin, and his only way out is to betray his psychotic brother Mal. Steve then learns Mal has been making advances to his girlfriend while he has been in jail, so a new house and identity courtesy of the State in exchange for evidence against his brother becomes even more appealing
