A gospel singer is blackmailed by his wife, who has learned about him having sex with an underage backing singer. He arranges for both her and the girl in question to die in a plane crash which he miraculously survives. However, when the crumpled cop investigates their deaths, he soon realises something does not add up and tries to get a confession from the singer.
