Synopsis:
In the first of a two-part Christmas special, tensions run high as staff deal with an influx of emergencies on one of the busiest days of the year, and Ellen's nightmare continues as she undergoes an MRI scan to find out whether her cancer has returned. Laura brings in her daughter Rosie, complaining of stomach pains, but when the pair's story fails to add up it becomes apparent all is not what it seems. A dejected Josh comes under fire from Dixie as he puts his life at risk to save a woman trap…
