• Season 1 Episode 7: Deny Thy Father - Part Two

  In the concluding part of this special festive team-up, news of the tunnel collapse reaches the hospital, where the staff struggle with their work not knowing if their friends and colleagues are dead or alive. However, the medics inside the tunnel are virtually unaffected by the collapse. But as Nick and Charlie continue to argue over the treatment of their patients, Woody struggles to free himself from the lorryload of sand that almost buried him. Outside, it finally looks like a rescue is imminent - but when the emergency services are told that dangerous chemicals are leaking into the tunnel, the fumes from which are slowly overcoming those inside, it becomes a desperate race against time

• Season 1 Episode 6: Deny Thy Father - Part One

  The first of an explosive two-part festive special uniting the casts of the hospital dramas, and marking the return of Michael French as registrar Nick Jordan. It's the day of the hospital Christmas party, a posh ticket-only bash at a hotel across town. However, this being Holby, disaster isn't far around the corner, and sure enough, on their way to the bash the medics soon find themselves in the middle of a huge traffic pile-up which traps them all inside a packed, claustrophobic tunnel. Luckily, the team are virtually uninjured and set about helping the other passengers - including a drastically unwell teenage girl - while outside the tunnel, Selena is first there and forced to cope single-handedly until the emergency services arrive. At the heart of the accident scene, Donna begins raiding cars to find equipment to treat the injured, while Kelsey is overcome by her fear of the dark - and no amount of consoling from Woody seems to help. But an attempt to save a baby soon threatens the lives of all those who are trapped

• Season 1 Episode 5: A Great Leap Forward

  Conclusion of the dramatic Hallowe'en special uniting the casts of Casualty and Holby City. Reassured she can have the baby she craves, Chrissie delivers an ultimatum to Owen - choose between her and Diane. Connie puts her career on the line to save a patient, while Josh pursues a school bully determined to leave his mark

  The third part of the Hallowe'en special uniting the casts of Casualty and Holby City. Comfort undergoes an operation, but the procedure doesn't go well and she bleeds profusely. Emma admits to her liaison with Nick, and Adrian runs scared when it is discovered he laced the apple-bobbing bowl with acid. Concludes tomorrow

  Josh manages to overtake the hijacked ambulance on his bike, but the driver swerves to avoid him and ends up hitting a car. Comfort needs treatment for a superficial head wound, but Nick's life hangs in the balance when he slips in and out of consciousness. Staff at the hospital struggle to stabilise him so he can be sent to theatre.

  The casts of Casualty and Holby City unite for an explosive Hallowe'en special being shown over four nights. An outing by Josh, Comfort, Woody and Luke to a failing school takes a dramatic turn when two of the children are badly burned during a game. But that's just the start of the medics' troubles.
