Synopsis:

Feature-length children's drama. During World War Two, 13-year-old Carrie and her younger brother are evacuated from war-torn London to Wales, where they are forced to stay with grumpy, miserly Mr Evans and his long-suffering sister Lou. However, a visit to his estranged sister at Druid's Bottom introduces the children to a world of fun and laughter with the outrageous Hepzibah, dreamy Mrs Gotobed and the tongue-tied Mr Johnny
