Synopsis:

The series of Chaucer adaptations draws to a close with this modern-day reworking of The Man of Law's Tale. A Nigerian refugee woman is washed up in a small boat near the Chatham Estuary and befriended by the couple who find her. A devout Christian, she appears deeply troubled by her past, but cannot remember much of what has happened to her.
