Cadfael: Season 4 (2001)

  • Season 4 Episode 3: Pilgrim of Hate

    A party of pilgrims are imprisoned within Shrewsbury Abbey on suspicion of murdering an old man whose body is discovered in a sack. Sleuthing monk Cadfael is soon on the scent of the killer, boiling the corpse down to its bones to ascertain the cause of death - and finding a tiny cross which could provide a vital clue.
