Synopsis:
Professor Nick Middleton continues his investigation by visiting the Cairngorms in Scotland. He experiences first-hand the effects snow and extreme cold can have on the human body, including the disorientation caused by blizzards and the onset of hypothermia. The threat avalanches pose also comes under the spotlight, along with the havoc wreaked on the nation's roads by heavy snowfall
