The programme focuses on the devastation caused in Boscastle in August 2004, when more than 100 people were airlifted to safety. Professor Nick Middleton asks whether the Thames' seven-metre-high gates will provide sufficient protection in future years and considers the consequences of London suffering the same fate as New Orleans
