In the first of a new series of Cutting Edge documentaries, Emmy award-winning director Stephen Walker charts the remarkable efforts of a 16-year-old music prodigy, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, as he prepares to conduct the Eton School orchestra in a performance of Bach's Magnificat. Over the years, the incurable disease has attacked his bones, and left him partially deaf and reliant on a cocktail of drugs to stay alive, but it has not prevented him taking on the greatest musical challenge of his life
