The Booze Cruise 2: The Treasure Hunt

The Booze Cruise crew are on the road again, following the successful 2003 one-off comedy drama which saw them cross the channel for some cheap champagne. This time round, Mark Benton (Dave), Neil Pearson and Brian Murphy (minus original star Martin Clunes, who's jumped ship for this outing) are embarking on a two-day charity treasure hunt. They're joined by Dave's wife Cath, keen to make sure her husband sticks to his diet, Daniel, who's back from France and worrying he may not be the father of his pregnant wife's baby, and Marcus Forster, a potential client of Dave, played by veteran actor Ian Richardson, who's not exactly the most pleasant fellow they've ever met. The only trouble is, everyone has to be nice to him if Dave's going to bag a new contract. With Maurice, Grace and elderly Elsie following in a beaten up camper van, it's a surefire recipe for chaos and disaster. Anne Reid, Karen Henthorn and Tom Bennett also star. Fans will be pleased to hear that a third adventure is already in the pipeline
