Julie Graham, Hugh Bonneville and Adrian Lester play archaeologists investigating mysteries of the past, starting with the apparent discovery of part of Christ's True Cross in a Somerset field. The find is made among the bodies of 14th-century Knights Templar returned from the Crusades and sparks the declaration of a modern-day holy war by a religious extremist who buys the site
