Synopsis:
Omnibus. Lady Dedlock continues to defy Tulkinghorn as she sends Rosa away to save her from the impending scandal, and the lawyer is irritated further when Hortense misbehaves. Esther returns to London in the hope of persuading Guppy to stop snooping. When she reveals her face the young clerk quickly agrees and even retracts his previous proposal - but another suitor soon approaches the orphan with a similar offer
