New four-part series, following the work of Blackpool's Royal Victoria Hospital as they cope with a rise in patients over the summer months. Paediatrician Dr Nigel Laycock deals with a premature baby in need of a crucial heart operation, while nurse Steve Taylor has translation difficulties when trying to treat a Polish man with head injuries.
