Meanwhile, Barb prepares for the Beehive Mother of the Year Ceremony, unaware a mysterious phone caller is trying to ruin the event for her.   Following her confrontation with sister Cindy, Barb decides to amend her will so that Ben, Sarah and Tancy would live with Bill's other wives if their parents were to die. However, when she puts the idea to Nicki and Margene, the three women end up criticising each other's parenting skills. • Season 1 Episode 8: Easter

  Bill is forced to take in his parents and his brother's family after they are evicted. The increasingly stressed hardware store owner exchanges lawsuits with Roman before suddenly collapsing as a result of overdosing on Viagra. Joey confides in Barb that he's regretting becoming a polygamist, Nicki worries that her debts will be exposed, and Lois bonds with her grand-daughter

• Season 1 Episode 7: Eviction

  Bill reports Roman to the attorney general's 'polygamy tsar', but the Prophet responds by evicting Frank and Joey from their homes. Barb finds out about Nicki's debts, and almost lets slip her unusual family arrangement to a pair of missionaries. Sarah brings Heather home unannounced, Margene attends Pam's church social and Ben is confused by his friends' behaviour at the seminary

• Season 1 Episode 6: Roberta's Funeral

  Bill attends the funeral of his father's first wife, but finds his mother has been shunned by the community and denied the legal marriage that would traditionally be her right. Nicki decides she wants another child, and is accused of identity theft when she tries to claim a discount at Home Plus using Barb's card. Ben worries about Margene's friendship with Pam

• Season 1 Episode 5: Affair

  Bill and Barb begins secretly sleeping together on the other wives' nights - leaving Nicki convinced he is looking for a fourth spouse. Details emerge of a land fraud orchestrated by Roman, and the hardware store owner decides to report his father-in-law to the authorities. Margene strikes up a friendship with a neighbour, and Benny seeks a cure for his obsession with sex

• Season 1 Episode 4: Eclipse

  Sarah tells Heather about her unusual family, and the other wives are not happy when Barb gets a job. Nicki comes under pressure from credit card companies, and turns to her unimpressed father for help. Bill is troubled by disturbing dreams his friend Don believes are messages from God, which inspire him to make a decision about Roman. Starring Bill Paxton

  Nicki plans an extravagant party for Wayne, but Bill refuses to allow her father to attend. He also takes steps to protect his house from Roman, who forces one of the hardware store employees to hand over $22,000.
