Six technological leaps that led to the construction of the world's largest hydroelectric dam - the Three Gorges Dam, which harnesses the power of the Yangtze River in China. The gigantic structure creates a reservoir more than 350 miles long and on completion will generate enough power to supply electricity to 60 million people. The programme explores how it was made possible using the achievements of predecessors including the Hoover and Grand Coulee Dams
