Synopsis:
The history of Batley Variety Club, the outlandishly glamorous hotspot dreamed up by James Corrigan which kept townsfolk entertained for 11 years in the 1960s and 1970s. Former patrons and employees recall the many happy hours they spent there watching the biggest names in showbiz, including Roy Orbison, Morecambe and Wise, Shirley Bassey and Louis Armstrong
