John Cage Live at the Barbican
Tommy Pearson presents tonight's concert from this year's annual Composer's Weekend series, celebrating the life of John Cage. Performed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra, it features compositions from American giants and includes Schuman's New England Triptych, Cowell's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra and Copland's El Salon Mexico, with the finale provided by Cage himself - his remarkable silent piece 4'33' Tacet for Large Orchestra
