  • Season 4 Episode 8: Au Revoir, Aufpet - Part Two

    The boys set out to rescue Barry from his jungle captors, but there's a slight problem - they don't have the foggiest idea where to go or what to do. Their first port of call is the local police, who advise them just to go home, so it seems their search is over before it's even begun - until a mystery man approaches them claiming to know where the Brummie is being held. Oz volunteers to go with him and call for help when he's located Barry, but the lads decide they can't let him go it alone and equip themselves for a jungle adventure.   • Season 4 Episode 7: Au Revoir, Aufpet - Part One

    Britain's favourite brickies are reunited for their last-ever outing, a two-part special that sees them travelling to the Asian paradise of Laos, where the Australian Embassy has seconded them to do some major repairs. For Scouse rogue Moxey, the lush locale provides the setting for love, as one of the embassy staff takes a shine to him during a table tennis tournament - but the rest of them soon grow fed up of rain and noodles. One by one they're realising that there's more to life than being part of their gang, a feeling brought into sharp focus by a letter from Bomber in Arizona, saying he won't be joining them as he's packed away his trowel for good. Fully aware this could be the last time they're together, the lads make big plans to live it up in neighbouring Thailand once the job is done. For Oz, Dennis, Moxey and Wyman, this means the bright lights and nightlife of Bangkok, while Barry and Neville opt for a more refined option with a trip on the Orient Express. But what should be a sedate journey through the historic sites of Thailand turns into a nightmare when Barry disappears, so Neville calls the remaining boys and they set out to rescue their friend from his jungle captors.     A British detective turns up looking for Moxey, and a vengeful Grainger tries to prevent the lads completing their reconstruction of the bridge - but Oz lures the upper-crust crook to America, where he finally gets his comeuppance.
