- Season 7 Episode 11: Fast Food Chain
For the penultimate task, contestants Jim Eastwood, Susan Ma, Helen Milligan, Tom Pellereau and Natasha Scribbins are given two empty shops in London's West End and told to open fast-food outlets, developing a brand and selling to the public for a few hours, before pitching their concept to Alan Sugar and industry experts. One team goes for Mexican, while the other opts for British pie-and-mash, but with meals emerging cold from the kitchen and gravy-soaked food being served in cardboard boxes, nothing seems to be going right. In the boardroom, the winners go straight through to next week's final, while one of the losers hears those familiar words
- Season 7 Episode 10: Flip It
The teams are each given a pallet-load of wholesale goods - from nodding dogs and pressure washers to duvet sets and sunglasses - and have to find out which products sell best, re-investing in those items for a day of peddling around London. There follows a frantic day of rushing round street markets, offices and door-to-door - but with some selling high-price goods to East End pound shops and others trying to palm tacky products off in high-class areas, it becomes clear that not all the hopefuls have grasped the basic idea
- Season 7 Episode 9: Biscuit
Alan Sugar challenges the candidates to come up with an upmarket biscuit, with two days to get the baking done and design the packaging, before pitching their savoury delights to buyers from some of Britain's biggest supermarkets. One team immediately decides on an after-school treat, but competition among their rivals is high, and they still cannot choose after munching their way through many crunchy options. It seems their project may crumble before it has even started
