• Season 1 Episode 18: Raja at Sixteen (2008) Raja dates a Muslim girl; Justin asks out a neurotic girl; Claire begins dating a German exchange student.
• Season 1 Episode 17: Wake at the Lake (2008) Raja joins a group opposed to student drinking and is given the job of organizing a fake funeral for a student who was killed in a drunken driving accident.
• Season 1 Episode 16: Smutty Books (2008) One of the PTA moms tries to get 'smutty' books banned from the school curriculum; Claire tries to avoid reading 'Pride and Prejudice' by claiming it should be banned; Justin's parents find out he has been drawing naked women.
• Season 1 Episode 15: The Muslim Card (2008) When Raja is the subject of unwanted attention from a girl he finds annoying, he uses their religious differences as an excuse not to date her, but the lie has unforeseen consequences when she decides to convert to Islam. • Season 1 Episode 14: One Hundred Thousand Miles (2008) Raja inadvertently gets the Tolchucks in trouble with the authorities when he arouses suspicion by praying at the airport. The exchange student feels so guilty about the incident that he asks to be placed with a different host family, but Justin and his parents are determined to track him down
• Season 1 Episode 13: Community Theater (2008) Franny convinces Justin to join her community theater group, where he befriends the lead actress; Claire joins the teen hotline at school, but feels like she is unable to help anyone.
• Season 1 Episode 12: Hunting (2008) A career aptitude test indicates that Raja should become a doctor, but it has no suggestions for Justin; Raja's fascination with Gary's crossbow leads to an embarrassing accident; Franny and Claire have a confrontation in a nightclub.
• Season 1 Episode 11: Mom's Coma (2008) Justin is bullied at school, but discovers he can escape the beatings by lying about his mother's medical condition. • Season 1 Episode 6: Rocket Club (2007) Justin and his friends find time to hang out by creating a secret Rocket Club when Franny insists on removing all the locks from their doors. • Season 1 Episode 5: The Metamorphosis (2007) The gang becomes angry with Raja for encouraging a good looking girl at school to dress more modestly, while Franny turns her attention to Gary's wardrobe when Justin thinks it is time he got his own clothes. Dan Byrd and Adhir Kalyan star
• Season 1 Episode 4: Help Wanted (2007) Raja is motivated to get a job at a convenience store after Gary gives the boys a speech about finances, but is fired for refusing to sell alcohol to high-school students. Comedy, starring Dan Byrd and Adhir Kalyan
• Season 1 Episode 3: Homecoming (2007) Justin is passed over by the homecoming float committee, which instead chooses Raja as its newest member, leading to bad blood between the two. Despite their differing backgrounds, Justin soon becomes good friends with his counterpart, Raja Musharaff, a Muslim from a small village in Pakistan
